Residual: Moving Image & Sonic Installation

I visited the Residual installation at St John's Crypt in Bristol this weekend, which was a collaboration between Isabel Rocamora, Thomas Koner and Helena Gough. It wasn't too clear how the collaboration operated, or who was responsible for what, but the piece itself was very beautiful and engaging.

For me, it was all about depth. A depth of resonance, and a depth of experience: slow work for a slow subject matter. If anything, I'd have liked it to have been a longer piece. Ten minutes was just not enough, and I could happily have spent all afternoon there.

There is also a performance in St John's Crypt on the 3rd November.
